Tamanu Monoi Oil

Tamanu, Calophyllum Inophyllum,  or "'𝘈𝘵𝘪" in Tahitian is a sacred tree of French Polynesia, known as the tree of virtues. The  oil extracted from its fruit is described locally as a medicinal balm easily recognised by its green colour.

Rich in natural antioxidants, Tamanu oil is highly sought after for its healing and soothing properties.  Polynesians swear by it when it comes to aiding healing or treating minor skin ailments such as scrapes, cuts, burns, insect bites, acne, eczema and itchy skin during pregnancy.
